This text is a brief overview. The wording of the Terms and Conditions is always what counts.
How long the service lasts
The contract for paid services is concluded for a fixed term. Its length is determined by the billing period you choose when ordering (for example, one year). The contract term is then the same as one billing period.
Renewal
Under the current wording, the contract is always renewed with a new billing period of the existing service. The service therefore continues for the next period unless you cancel it.
Ending the service
- The contractual relationship can be ended by mutual agreement or by unilateral termination.
- The notice period is 1 month. It starts on the day after the notice is delivered to the other party.
- We recommend sending the notice in writing (by email) and asking for confirmation of receipt.
Before you end the service
- Download your data: files via FTP and databases by exporting them, see Importing and exporting a database. If your website uses WordPress, see Moving WordPress.
- Transfer your emails and set up a new mailbox.
- If you are moving a domain, transfer the domain first and only then cancel the hosting, see Transferring a domain to and from us.
- Remember that a domain has its own expiration date, see Domain expiration.
Breach of terms
If a customer breaches the terms, the provider may withdraw from the contract and cancel the service. In that case the data is deleted and stored on a backup medium. Details are in the Terms and Conditions.
