A machine-readable description of a page's content that helps search engines understand what it is about: a company, address and phone number, a product with a price, a recipe, frequently asked questions, a review. It is written using the Schema.org vocabulary in the JSON-LD format (an application/ld+json block).
Thanks to it, Google can show stars, prices or expandable questions in the results.
